YEIDA Invests Rs 75 Crore In Park Development Near Upcoming Noida International Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a significant investment in green infrastructure for its urban areas bordering the soon-to-be-operational Noida International Airport. This initiative highlights YEIDA's commitment to sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Rs 75 Crore Allocated for Park Development

YEIDA has earmarked a budget of Rs 75 crore to establish 37 parks across these urban areas. The focus lies on creating green spaces within newly developed zones encompassing residential clusters and industrial sectors. These parks are envisioned as vibrant community hubs, fostering social interaction and well-being.

Phased Development Plan

The park development project will be executed in phases. In the initial phase, YEIDA will prioritise the creation of 37 parks. Each park's design and estimated cost have been finalised, and the tendering process will commence once the model code of conduct is lifted. Following the completion of these initial parks, YEIDA will move forward with developing the remaining parks in a subsequent phase. The authority has also expressed the possibility of allocating additional funds if necessary to ensure the project's successful completion.Read  More
