The Indian government has announced a significant boost to the nation's infrastructure with a series of projects totalling over Rs 200,000 crore.   • Airport Expansion: The Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi will receive a substantial investment of Rs 2,870 crore for development. This expansion is expected to generate 34 lakh man-days of employment and significantly enhance the airport's capacity.

  • Major Greenfield Port: A new major port is set to be established at Vadhavan near Dahanu in Maharashtra at a cost of Rs 76,220 crore. This ambitious project is projected to create 12 lakh jobs and bolster India's maritime infrastructure.
