Namma Metro Green Line Extension Delayed Until October

Commuters in Bengaluru will have to wait a little longer to experience the expansion of the Namma Metro Green Line. The opening of the 3.7-kilometre extension from Nagasandra to Madavara, initially targeted for July 2024, is now expected by the end of October due to pending infrastructure testing. 



Increased Capacity and Improved Efficiency

The Green Line extension marks a significant milestone in Phase II of Namma Metro's expansion. BMRCL officials anticipate the addition of 25,000 to 30,000 daily passengers with the new line's operation.
