September 06, 2024: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar visited Patna's Jayprakash Narayan International Airport to inspect the ongoing construction of a new terminal, emphasising the need for swift completion. The Rs 1,400 crore expansion project aims to increase the airport's passenger handling capacity from three million to 10 million annually and add six more parking stands, totalling eleven.
