Introduction

MMRDA to Raise Rs 656 Crore by Leasing Three Plots

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is aiming to generate revenue for infrastructure development by leasing out three prime plots in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). These plots are earmarked for the construction of a world-class clubhouse with sports facilities, a hospital, and an educational institution, contributing to the overall development of the area.

BKC to Gain New Facilities

Bids for the three plots, offered on an 80-year lease, are due by November 25th, 2024. The largest plot, located in G Block, will house a prestigious clubhouse and sports complex. Spread over 52,138 square metres, it boasts a permissible built-up area of 10,427 square metres. Plans for the clubhouse include luxurious amenities like suites, conference rooms, an auditorium, a restaurant, and a gymnasium.


Focus on Health and Education
