Mumbai commuters can rejoice as the much-anticipated Santacruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR) Extension project nears its final stages. This critical infrastructure project promises to significantly improve connectivity and travel efficiency within the city.

100 Metres Left: Final Stretch Awaits Traffic Block Permissions

With only 100 metres of suspension span remaining to be installed, the SCLR Extension is on the cusp of completion. This final segment forms part of a cable-stayed bridge and requires approval for two planned traffic blocks from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). Once the traffic police grant these permissions, the installation will proceed in phases, meticulously following the bridge's curvature. This will be followed by the addition of suspension cables and road surfacing.
