UP Cabinet Approves Rs 2,991.60 Crore Noida Metro Aqua Line Extension

 

Introduction

Noida to Greater Noida: New Corridor Details

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the detailed project report (DPR) for the extension of the Noida Metro Aqua Line. This Rs 2,991.60 crore project will connect Noida Sector 51 to Knowledge Park-V in Greater Noida West. The extended route will span 17.435 km, including 11 stations, and aim to enhance connectivity within the region. The Aqua Line currently operates a 21-station corridor from Sector 51 in Noida to Depot in Greater Noida, which became operational in 2019.

The extension will introduce 11 stations: Sector 51, Sector 61, Sector 70, Sector 122, Sector 123, Sector 4 (Greater Noida), Ecotech-12, Sector 2 (Greater Noida), Sector 3 (Greater Noida), Sector 10 (Greater Noida), Sector 12 (Greater Noida), and Knowledge Park-V.
